TRADITIONAL PRESCHOOL

Our traditional program uses the Weekday Early Education Curriculum published by LifeWay Christian Resources. This curriculum is designed to provide opportunities for children to learn about God’s world and how to live in it. Each room will teach and play through the use of learning centers where children will be able to experince art, construction, music, drama, nature, games, listening and writing. It is our goal to encourage your child to grow and learn in academics, relationships, and spirit.

6 months - 5 year olds

MONTESSORI
TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS

The basic philosophy of our montessori program is that each child is created as a unqiue human being who is striving to develop his or her full potential as a total person. The child is provided “freedom within limits,” which encourages self-discipline. The teacher’s job is to provide a rich, creative prepared environment which allows the child to learn at his or her own rate and interest to foster independence and self-motivation. The focus of the learning activities provided for the child is prcess-oriented rather than product-oriented. We believe that learning is a joyful event and is to be nurtured in the early years.
