Exploring Property Sale
- We are responsible for the resources of The Fellowship and accountable for how wisely we use them.
- The Resource Study group from three years ago developed a timeline for up to $5,000,000 of repairs and maintenance over the next five to seven years in addition to cosmetic repairs that would cost another $500,000 to $1 million. We are about $500,000 and two years into this timeline. In addition, over 25 percent of our budget goes to just utilities.
- A Vision Team was formed in September of 2011 with the task of helping to decide how to best accomplish the vision of the church, with all options on the table. After much prayer and fasting, in November the Vision team recommended unanimously the sale of the property was the best option to explore.
- After almost a year of prayerful consideration, the Elders unanimously agree that moving forward with the sale of property is what is best to accomplish the vision and for the stewardship of our church.
- We are simply announcing the ”exploration” of the sale of property. The church will have to affirm the ultimate “sale” of the property. We will fully communicate the direction of future plans with meetings, emails, through our website, discussions, etc.
- We do not have an offer presently.
- Having a single “drive in” location is not effective in reaching our community. We have to go to them. Multiple locations of The Fellowship is the direction we feel God is leading to most effectively minister to people in their communities.

Starting another campus in Mt Juliet
- We see a day when we will have three to five campuses across the city impacting Nashville with the Gospel.
- We are not relocating the church. We simply are adding the first of several future campuses to our congregation.
- We begin vision worship services on April 1 at 5 p.m. at the Mt. Juliet Elementary School in addition to starting weekly home LIFEgroups in the Mt. Juliet area.
- We will meet about once a month until school begins hoping to cast the vision and build the foundation for the Mt Juliet Campus. Our goal is to begin in August holding weekly worship services and having fully functional age appropriate ministries.
- Donelson/Hermitage remains a major focus of ministry for our church. You will not see any drop off of effort or ministry as we begin these additional campuses.
